Tornado Cars 50th Anniversary

The Tornado Cars 50th Anniversary Celebration
Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Oxfordshire on Sunday 10th August 2008

Tornado owners, past owners and enthusiasts are invited to join us at the Historic Specials Day at the Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, Oxfordshire on Sunday 10th August 2008 to help celebrate the passing of 50 years since Tornado Cars was founded. Several of those who ran the company in its car manufacturing years will be in attendance and the press have been invited.

If you have a Tornado Typhoon, Tornado Tempest, Tornado Thunderbolt, Tornado Talisman or Tornado Fiat 600D we need you and your car to help make the day complete. Cars do not have to be in pristine condition to attend although their will be a special Best Tornado award for the day. It is important to simply get your car to the event either under its own power or on a trailer.

We will also will be having a unique Tornado memorabilia area where you can bring your items for others to admire and where you can tell us the story behind them. If you once owned a Tornado why not bring along photographs of your time with the finest vehicle Rickmansworth could supply. Award winning journalist Martyn Morgan Jones will be on hand, you will be able to meet the author and purchase a copy of his latest book; Tornado Cars - Winds of Change, a fully illustrated history of this unique car maker.
